This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to admit this Criminal Petition and file the complaint dated 03.10.2017 and initiate immediate criminal action on the respondents 2 to 29.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that a polluting industry is located within the prohibitory distance from Amaravathi river, on account of which, the river is getting polluted. Under such circumstances, the petitioner had given a complaint and thereafter, filed the present petition seeking a direction to register an FIR.
3. In view of the order passed by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., -Vs- The Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2, Adyar Police Station, Adyar, Chennai-600 020 and another [2016 (5) CTC 577 : 2016-2-LW (Crl.) 499], this petition is not maintainable. It is always open to the petitioner to approach the Green Bench with his grievance, if any.
