(Order of the Court was made by G.Jayachandran J.) The writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to direct the respondent to remove the lock and seal pending disposal of the revision application before the Government, challenging the removal of encroachment on the alleged Government Kulam Poramboke.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that while the revision application is pending before the Government and stay order had been granted and the temple been sealed without any authority or reason.
3. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents, on instructions, submits that due to a law and order issue, the temple was sealed. However, the same was reopened on 26.06.2026 at about 6.00 p.m., and is now open for public worship. Recording and confirming the statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the temple has been desealed, we find no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending.

4. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of, recording the desealing of the Temple by the Tahsildar and reporting that the Temple is open for public worship. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
