ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.04.2016, for the offence punishable under Sections 324, 302 & 380 IPC altered into Sections 120(B) r/w 449, 302, 307, 380, 414 r/w 109 IPC in connection with Crime No.647 of 2016 registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2.This Court had earlier dismissed the bail application of the petitioner in Crl.OP No.5626 of 2025, dated 07.03.2025, with a direction that "the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order". Subsequently, on 17.09.2025, while hearing the bail petition of the petitioner, this Court had directed the Registry "to call for a report report from the Trial Court regarding the stage of the case". The said report has been placed before this Court today, and upon perusal of the same, it reveals that this case is pending at the stage of defence side arguments, having reached its finality. Consequently, this Court is not inclined to consider this bail petition at this point

in time.
