ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 3rd respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 8.1.2024 and subsequently to issue assignment patta in favour of the petitioner for his property an extent of 3 cents house site comprised in Grama Nattam Survey No.108/1A, U.Keeranur Village, Ulundurpettai Taluk, Kallakurichi District and to grant a patta in petitioner favour.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is residing in the subject property for more than 35 years and petitioner is paying the property tax without default, however, patta is not granted in favour of the writ petitioner. Hence, submitted a representation on 08.01.2024 with a request for issuance of assignment patta in favour of the petitioner which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final 2/4

disposal at the admission stage itself.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
