TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The writ petition is W.P.No.15062/2013 pending on the file of High court of Madras haven been referred to Lok Adalat for conciliation today. The petitioner counsel filed a memo to pass an order on the writ petition to the effect that the writ petition may be dismissed has withdrawn with liberty to renew the same later if necessary. The writ petition has been filed to the effect that to issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ or direction in the nature of writ calling for the records of the respondent in connection with the impugned charge memo issued in PR No.24/2013 dt.18.4.2013 and quash the same and grant such other further relief as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit.

The writ petitioner and his wife Mrs.S.G.Fouzia Begum have settled the dispute in the family and is willing to withdraw the complaint given to the respondent herein and accordingly a petition has also been submitted to the respondent to drop further action against her husband.
Since the writ petition is pending and since there is a stay in that matter, the department could not proceed further on the representation made by the wife of writ petitioner. In these circumstances a memo has been filed by the counsel for the writ petitioner to dismiss, the writ petition as withdrawn with liberty to renew the same later if necessary. The said memo bas been recorded by Lok Adalat today.
In view of the memo filed by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn but with liberty to renew the same later if necessary. No order as to cost award is passed accordingly.
