The petitioner has filed this transfer petition with a prayer to withdraw the proceedings in M.C.No.97 of 2015 from the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore and transfer the same to Sub-Court, Tambaram.
2. When the transfer petition came up for hearing on 08.09.2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submitted that the respondent has withdrawn the proceedings in M.C.No.97 of 2015 and as such, nothing survives for adjudication. The learned counsel sought time to verify the factual position. Accordingly, the matter was adjourned to be posted today.
3. None appears on behalf of the petitioner.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the respondent.
5. The prayer in the transfer petition is to transfer the proceedings in M.C.No.97 of 2015 to the file of Sub-Court, Tambaram. Since the respondent has already withdrawn the proceedings in M.C.No.97 of 2015, nothing survives for adjudication.

6. The transfer petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
