... Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to disperse the pensionary and monetary benefits of deceased Mrs.R.Rangan to the petitioner as his wife.

This writ petition is being disposed at the time of admission without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. The case of the petitioner is that he was wife of late Mr.R.Rangan who died on 03.03.2021. It is the further case of the petitioner that as the wife of the nominee of the deceased employee Mr.R.Rangan is entitled to receive the family pension.

2. The learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner has also filed a copy of the legal heir certificate issued by the Tahsildar dated 06.09.2021. It is submitted that despite the fact that the petitioner has produced the above records, the respondents have not sanctioned pension till date. It is noitced that the petitioner has sent representation to the respondents along with enclosures on 15.09.2021.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner is aged about 71 years as per the legal heir certificate dated 06.09.2021, this writ petition is disposed by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner's dated 15.09.2021 and pass appropriate orders within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
