These petitions are filed by the petitioner/appellant/Management seeking to extend the time granted by this Court by one month for depositing 50% of the compensation amount awarded by the Principal Labour Court, Coimbatore as ordered by this Court in its common order dated 05.07.2024 in the above Writ Appeals.

2. In the above Writ Appeals, this Court, by order dated 05.07.2024, has granted interim stay till 22.07.2024 subject to condition that the appellant/Management deposits 50% of the compensation awarded by the Labour Court in each case before the Labour Court on or before 22.07.2024, failing which, interim stay granted shall stand vacated automatically, without further reference to this Court.

3. Learned counsel for the appellant/Management submitted that due to heavy losses suffered by the appellant/Management company from 2009 to 2016, its operations were closed down and now the company's property was leased out and the income derived from the leased property is the only source of income for the appellant/Management company. msr huge amount immediately. Therefore, he prays to extend the time granted by this Court by one month for depositing 50% of the compensation awarded by the Labour Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondent/employee.

5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant/Management, this court extends the time granted by this Court for depositing 50% of the compensation awarded by the Principal Labour Court, Coimbatore for a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The petitions are ordered accordingly.
