O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Memo No.021314/723/ADMN1/A3/F.PD/20071, dated 24.12.2007. As per the said proceedings, the petitioner herein, had been appointed as Junior Engineer / Electrical II Grade, but, he was not interested for the said post, as it was the order of promotion cum transfer.

2. The petitioner, on 11.05.2008, had sent a representation to the 4th respondent, requesting to rescind the order of promotion cum transfer, but, it was not considered by the respondent and hence, the petitioner, with no other alternative, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

had filed the present Writ Petition to quash the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 24.12.2007.

3. At the time of admission, when the matter was taken up on 03.07.2008, this Court had granted an order of interim stay of the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent on 24.12.2007. Thereafter, when the matter was taken up for final disposal on 20.06.2018, the learned counsel for the petitioner was directed to get instructions regarding the present status of the case. Accordingly, when the matter is taken up today, i.e. on 04.07.2018, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that she was not able to contact the party, but, the matter would become infructuous, since the petitioner had continued his service based on the interim order granted by this Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
