ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners for erecting a fence around and protecting their agricultural lands measuring an extent of 40 cents comprised in Survey No.295/9B2 situated at Periyakurukai Village, Ullundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi within the boundaries demarcated by the competent Surveyor on 18.05.2026 based on the petitioners representation dated 22.05.2026.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they own agricultural lands measuring an extent of 40 cents comprised in Survey No.295/9B2 situated at Periyakurukai Village, Ullundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi, which has already been surveyed by the revenue authorities and seeks for an adequate police protection to fence their property. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side). Perused the materials on record. 4.In view of the above, the 3rd respondent is directed to conduct an

enquiry on the representation / complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 22.05.2026, upon issuing summons to the petitioners and the 4th respondents, and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners and their labourers while putting up fencing in and around their agricultural lands measuring an extent of 40 cents comprised in Survey No.295/9B2 situated at Periyakurukai Village, Ullundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi, within a period of two
