The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to grant patta in respect of the properties in S.Nos.11B1A, 210/8 and 210/9A situated at Abatharanapuram Village, Vadalur, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District by considering her representation dated 20.04.2024.
2. According to the petitioner, her husband Baskar got the property under the Will executed by her father-in-law and there was a civil suit between one Devibala and her husband in O.S.No.141 of 2012 before the Principal District Munsif, Cuddalore in respect of the some of the properties covered under the representation and the civil suit ended in favour her husband. Thereafter, the patta for the above mentioned property was wrongly issued in the name of said Devibala, unsuccessful party in the civil suit and hence, the petitioner has made a representation seeking for issue of patta in her name. The said representation has not been considered by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come by way of this writ petition.
3. Mr.U.Bharanidaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes 2/4
notice for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the request of the petitioner for issue of patta would be considered after hearing the interested parties.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2024 and pass final orders on merits, after issuing notice to all interested parties including one Devibala in whose name the patta stands as on today, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed. No costs.
