Periya Poosari @ Thoppanallagounder Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent Nos.1 to 6 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2026 to restrain the Respondent No.8 and his family members men or agents from conducting any festival in the "Erusiamman Kovil" situated at Vedikarampalayam, Kunakkapalayam Madapillai, Olagadam Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District, for the year 2026 on 18.06.2026 as against the various orders passed by the Madras High Court and Judgment and Decree dated 18.02.2019 made in O.S. No.280 of 2007 on the file of the Principal District Munsiff, Bhavani and to give me a necessary protection to conduct the festival. For Petitioner :

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Counsel (HR & CE) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the prayer sought in this Writ Petition has become infructuous as the festival scheduled to be conducted between 7.35 a.m. and 8.00 a.m. on 18.06.2026 has already been completed.

2. In view of the above said submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
