O R D E R

The petitioner's Tavera car bearing registration No.TN20 CD 8363 went missing. Pursuant to which, on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.355 of 2016 has been registered on 31.08.2016 against unknown accused. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court with the above prayer.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that if a Non Traceable Certificate is issued to the petitioner, he would be satisfied, so that he can make a claim in the Insurance Company.

4.Under such circumstances, this Court directs the respondent Police to give a Non Traceable Certificate to the petitioner in accordance with the rules. Issuance of Non Traceable Certificate does not mean that investigation is closed. As and when the accused is identified, the investigation should progress to its logical conclusion.
