This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to hold enquiry under Section 151 PSO and punish the culprits referred in the petitioner's complaint dated 25.06.2018 to secure the ends of justice.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3.The direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted in a proceedings under Section 482 Cr.P.C., as an action under Police Standing Orders 145 is not taken under the Code, but under the Police Standing Orders. Hence, this petition is closed, especially in the light of the law laid down by this Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., Vs The Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2, Adyar Police Station, Adyar, Chennai-600 020 and another reported in 2016 (5) CTC 577.
