O R D E R

Writ Petition is filed challenging the order dated 14.06.2019 in I.D.No.253 of 2013 by the II Additional Labour Court, Chennai. The learned counsels have produced the memorandum of settlement entered into between the management and the workman under section 18(1) of the Industrial Dispute Act.

2. As the settlement has been entered into between the parties no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. It is seen from the memorandum of settlement, the management namely Lotus Roofings Limited has deposited a sum of Rs.8,18,670/- (Rupees eight lakhs eighteen thousand six hundred and seventy only) to the credit of I.D.No.253 of 2013 on the file of the II Additional Labour Court, Chennai.

3. In view of the same, the petitioner namely Lotus Roofings Limited is permitted to withdraw the aforesaid sum along with interest. The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement. The parties shall abide by the terms of the memorandum of settlement dated 18.01.2024 filed before this Court. The said memorandum of Settlement entered between the petitioner/Management and the respondent shall form part of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
