ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the First Respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2020 for transferring the Petitioner to any of the Government office in Cuddalore District on medical humanitarian grounds. 2.The Petitioner, who has been working with the third Respondent has filed this Writ Petition. Since the Petitioner was found to be excess than the sanctioned post allowed to the third Respondent, the Petitioner 2/6

was deployed to some other Government Department. Now the Petitioner has filed this Petition to consider her representation and post her anywhere in Cuddalore District, where she was originally posted. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents. 4.It is seen from the office proceedings of the Home, Prohibition and Excise (OP) Department, dated 13.06.2017 that the Petitioner was deployed and has been allotted to Home, Prohibition and excise Department for a period for three years, again the Petitioner was retained at the very same department for a further three years period from 16.06.2020. 5.The Petitioner is suffering from Cancer and for which she is taking chemotherapy in Chennai. She is finding it difficult to stay alone at Chennai, without her family, which is settled at Cuddalore. Hence, the Petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2020, stating her serious health condition, shall be considered by the first Respondent sympathetically on 3/6

medical and humanitarian ground, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the Petitioner to file a fresh representation to the first Respondent. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
