ORDER
These miscellaneous petitions have been filed seeking for modification of the order passed in the writ petitions on 16.06.2025. 2.Heard Mr.T.S.Rajamohan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.H.Manish Vaid, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 2 and 3. 3.It is not necessary for this Court to go into all the grounds raised in these modification petitions. The sum and substance of the grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the affairs of the Sri Ram Samaj is not conducted in a
7/10 proper manner and the Form VI and Form VII have not been properly filed and there is no reconciliation of the list of members properly reflected in these forms and therefore, the petitioner only wants the Sri Ram Samaj to conduct their affairs in a proper manner by complying with the procedure mandated under the Societies Registration Act.
4.This Court disposed of all the writ petitions mainly on the ground that the complaint was pertaining to the year 2017 and no useful purpose will be served in keeping the writ petitions pending in the year 2025 and more so since, the Annual General Meeting pertained to the year 2017. 5.If according to the petitioner, the irregularities continue and the Ram Samaj is not properly conducting its affairs by following the procedure mandated under the Societies Registration Act, it is left open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the District Registrar of Societies by providing all the particulars. On receipt of the same, the District Registrar shall conduct an enquiry and verify as to whether the Society is being run by
8/10 following the mandate under the Societies Registration Act. In this process, opportunity shall be given to the Sri Ram Samaj and its office bearers. This liberty will sufficiently take care of the grievance expressed by the petitioner. 6.All the modification petitions are disposed of in the above terms. 05-08-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes ssr
