The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.08.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, 307 and 506(ii) of I.P.C in Crime No.524 of 2022, seeks bail.

2. The case of the proseuction is that, due to previous enmity, the petitioner along with other accused attacked the victim using knife, due to which, the victim sustained grievous injuries on his head and was admitted in the hospital. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the victim who sustained injuries in the alleged occurrence is still taking treatment in the hospital. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and also considering that the injured victim is still taking treatment in the hospital, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
