Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the 3rd respondent i.e., Inspector of Police, Sankarapuram Police Station, Kallakurichi, not to harass the petitioner (the petitioner's representation dated 03/07/2020).

ORDER

It is represented by the Additional Public Prosecutor that following the complaint lodged by T.Jayakumar, investigation is pending. Further, it is represented that due to the involvement of the petitioner, FIR has been registered in Crime No.528 of 2020 dated 18.06.2020. 2.Per contra, according to the petitioner, he is not at all involved in the crime as put forth by the Additional Public Prosecutor and ready to appear before the respondent police as and when called by the police as per law. It is further represented that the representation sent by the petitioner dated 03.07.2020 has been closed.

3.Taking into consideration the abovesaid factors, the petitioner is alleged to be involved in Crime No.528 of 2020 dated 18.06.2020 and the police requires his presence for interrogation. The respondent police is directed to issue appropriate summons/ notice to the petitioner for his appearance for the purpose of investigation and on receipt of 2/4

summon/notice, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police and co-operate with the respondent police. With the abovesaid observations, the criminal original petition is closed.
