This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to change over the patta in the name of petitioner's minor son by name Rishikesh inrespect of the land situated in S.No. 221/13, Thumbikulam Village, Thazhavedu Post, Thiruthani Taluk, Tiruvallur District-631 212 to the extent of 1.03.50 hectare in so far relate to land situated in S.No.228/2 Thumbikulam Village, Thazhavedu Post, Thiruthani Taluk, Tiruvallur District631 212 to the extent of 0.09.50 hectare in the name of the petitioner by deleting the respondents 3 and 4 name from patta Nos.2398 and 2831 by dispose of the written representation made by the petitioner on 03.05.2024 .

2. It is the case of the writ petitioner the subject property is purchased by the petitioner's father and he is the absolute owner. In this regard, he has given a representation on 03.05.2024 for issuance of the patta, however, the same is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted in pursuant to the representation of the petitioner, hearing is already fixed on 06.08.2024 and the copy of the notice regarding the hearing was given to the petitioner.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the 2/4

admission stage itself.

5. Such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondents on the fixed date, i.e., on 06.08.2024 and the official respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months thereafter.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
