O R D E R

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reported no instructions on 22 September 2016. I have therefore, directed the Registry to post the matter 'For Dismissal' today.

2. None appears on behalf of the petitioner. There is no appearance on behalf of the respondent also instead of printing his name in the cause list after service.

3. This transfer petition has been filed by the respondent for an order to transfer the proceedings in F.C.O.P.No.21 of 2016, pending on the file of Family Court, Chengalpattu. The petitioner is a resident of Tambaram. According to the petitioner, it would not be possible for her to appear before the Court at Chengalpattu in view of the distance factor.

4. There is nothing on record to suspect the bonafides in filing this transfer petition. I am therefore, of the view that the matter require transfer.

5. The proceedings in FCOP No.21 of 2016 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Chengalpattu and is transferred to the file of Subordinate Court, Tambaram.
