Prayer:Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records made in impugned order No.Nil dated 24.08.2020 passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adayar Range, Chennai, the First Respondent herein and setaside the same as illegal and direct the respondent to remove the name from the History Sheet maintained by the Inspector of Police, J-5 Sastri Nagar Police Station, the second respondent herein to secure the ends of justice.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to set aside the impugned order dated 24.08.2020 passed by the first respondent and thereby rejected the request made by the petitioner to remove his name from the History Sheet maintained by the first respondent.

2. After the order passed by the first respondent dated 24.08.2020, the second respondent recommended the first respondent to remove the name of the petitioner from the History Sheet, which is pending on the file of the first respondent.

3.Considering the above, the first respondent is directed to pass orders to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet as recommended by the second respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
