The application has been filed by the defendants seeking to amend the name of his mother from V.Vijayalakshmi to V.Vijayakumari, which is the correct name wherever mentioned in the written statement.

2. Since it is a fact that the name of the mother is only V.Vijayakumari, it is only appropriate that the correct name is incorporated in all places in the written statement.

3. In view of that particular reason, the application stands allowed. Necessary amendment to be carried out by the learned counsel for the defendant in the written statement by correcting the name of the mother from V.Vijayalakshmi to V.Vijayakumari, wherever it is found in the written statement.

4. The amended written statement may also be filed.

5. Time for carrying out such amendment is till 14.11.2022.

6. Post the matter before the learned Additional Master No.1, after amendment is carried out and after the additional written statement has been filed on 22.11.2022 for commencement of recording of evidence of P.W.1.
