Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 05.06.2024, regarding to depute the Head Surveyor to demarcate the boundaries of the land in Survey No.136/6A1 in Vettapattu Village, Nattrampalli Taluk, Tirupattur District, within a limited time frame.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider her online application dated 05.06.2024 regarding the survey of the land in S.No.136/6A1 in Vettapattu Village, Nattrampalli Taluk, Thirupattur District, within a time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property was purchased by her father-in-law. He executed a gift deed in favour of the petitioner and her husband Ponnusamy on 24.08.1981. Later, the petitioner along with her husband Ponnusamy sold 89 cents out of 94 cents of the said property to one Krishnamoorthy on 07.01.1983. The petitioner seeks survey of the above mentioned land and demarcate the remaining 5 cents available with her by online application, which was made on 05.06.2024. The petitioner also paid necessary charges for survey of the land as seen from the e-challan issued to the petitioner on 05.06.2024, which is enclosed in the typed set of papers. 2/5

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2 would submit that as per e-challan receipt, the petitioner paid the charges for surveying the property in S.No.136/6. However, in the Writ Petition she seeks survey of the land in S.No.136/6A1.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the land in S.No.136/6A1 is surveyed, the petitioner will be satisfied. The said statement is recorded.

In view of the same, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider petitioner's online application dated 05.06.2024 seeking survey of the land in S.No.136/6A1 and pass final orders, after issuing necessary notice to the interested parties, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3/5

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
