Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the entire records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent in detention order No.B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V. No.57/2020 dated 10.11.2020 against the detenu N. Vetrivel, S/o.Natarajan, confined at Central PrisonII, Puzhal, Chennai 600 006 under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and consequently, direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V. No.57/2020 dated 10.11.2020, detaining her son as "GOONDA" under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.206, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 11.01.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
