At the time of allotment, instead of mentioning petitioner's name S.S.Gandhi s/o.Shanmugasundaram, the Assistant Commissioner (Land Reform) had wrongly noted as S.S.Shanthi w/o.Shanmuga Sundaram. 4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner for grant of assignment patta, in accordance with law on the allotment and consequential payment under the existing Rules, by giving him an opportunity of being heard, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
