This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Udhagamandalam, The Nilgiris to expedite the trial in STC.No.1196 of 2017 and complete the same within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3.Taking into consideration the fact that the proof affidavit has been filed on 25.01.2018, this Court directs the trial Court to complete the trial in STC.No.1196 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided there is no any legal impediment.
