TEEKAA RAMAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.8017 of 2018 IN CRL RC.688/2018 KRISHNARAJ, [ PETITIONER/APPELLANT/RESPONDENT] Vs LAKSHMI, [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.RC.688 of 2018 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to stay the operation of the order in Cr.M.P.403/2013 in M.C.No.3 of 2016 (On the file Judicial Magistrate III Puducherry) pending disposal of the above Criminal R.C.No.688 of 2018.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.RC.NO.688 of 2018 On the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.K.SELVARANGAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- The Petition has been filed seeking to stay the operation of the order in Crl.MP.No.403 of 2016 in M.C.No.3 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate III Puducherry pending disposal of the above Crl.RC.No.688 of 2018 on the file of this Court.

2. This Court, by an order dated 25.06.2018 directed the petitioner to pay the arrears of maintenance amount calculated at the rate of Rs.3,000/- per mensum. However, in the latter portion of the order dated 25.06.2018, it was erroneously stated that the arrears of maintenance shall be paid at the rate of Rs.6,000/-.

3. Accordingly, it is clarified that the arrears of maintenance amount to be paid by the petitioner shall be calculated at the rate of Rs.3,000/- per mensum from the date of the *order being 03.02.2017 passed in Crl.MP.NO.403 of 2016 in M.C. No.3 of 2016 and the same shall be deposited by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today.
