Ganesan Chandran v. Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation
C.M.P.No.13692 of 2022 in W.A.No.1513 of 2022 C.M.P.No.13692 of 2022 in W.A.No.1513 of 2022 THE HON'BLE CHIEF JUSTICE and N.MALA, J.
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This application has been made to seek extension of time for supply of additional quantity of Palmolein. This Court, by order dated 06.07.2022, granted 45 days for the supply, but due to unavoidable reasons, it could not be completed, therefore, extension of time is sought for supply of Palmolein.
2. The learned Advocate General has contested the application for the reason that while this Court permitted supply of Palmolein within 45 days, it was obligatory on the part of the applicant to supply it, more so when the order of the Court was on his assurance. In any case, if the extension of time for supply of palmolein is given, it may be with the clarity that the respondents would impose the consequential penalty and other charges for the extended period, as otherwise also it has been given in para 8 of the order of this Court. __________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. After considering the submission and finding reasons, we allow this application to extend the time for supply of Palmolein by another period of three weeks (21 days), subject to the condition given in para 8 of the order dated 06.07.2022.
