ORDER

This writ petition is filed directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 28.05.2024 and dispose off the same.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. It is the case of the writ petitioner that the petitioner along with 5 other legal heirs inherited the land from their father. When the matter stood thus, the subject lands were acquired by the Government for the purpose of erecting overbridge. It is the grievance that she was not aware of the further proceedings of the land acquisition and compensation etc., Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 28.05.2024 seeking for compensation amount which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ 2/5

petition.

4. The Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that S.Nos.13/1A1 and 15/2 of Maduravoyal Village is also subject matter of acquisition. As far as S.No.15/3, the petitioner's name is not found in the patta. Since, there is a dispute among the legal heirs in receiving the compensation, the amount is deposited in the reference Court and the petitioner and other legal heirs can approach the reference Court by filing payment out petition in respect of their share. However, in respect of the S.Nos.13/1A1 and 15/2, they are ready to pay the compensation to the petitioner.

5. Recording the above submissions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. The authorities shall disburse the amount in respect of the petitioner's share directly within a period of four month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
