This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying to quash the FIR in Crime No.1019 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.
3.Mr.M.Malarvannan, the Inspector of Police, J-9, Thuraipakkam Police Station, Chennai, is present today. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions wou7ld submit that based on the complaint lodged by the second respondent herein/Manikandan, the respondent police has registered a case in Cr.No.1019 of 2016 on 17.06.2016 under Sections 341, 294(b) and 324 of IPC against the petitioner/Ganesan. Challenging which, Ganesan is before this Court for quashing the prosecution case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.It appears that the parties had entered into a compromise. ManiKandan and Ganesan are present before this Court today and identified as parties to the proceedings. They have filed a joint compromise memo dated 03.09.2016, under which, Manikandan has stated that he has arrived at a compromise with the petitioner Ganesan and he has no objection in quashment of the FIR in Cr.No.1019 of 2016. 6.In view of the compromise dated 03.09.2016 arrived at between the parties viz., Manikandan and Ganesan, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and consequently, the FIR is quashed.
