This criminal original petition has been filed challenging one of the condition imposed by the Court below while suspending the sentence by directing the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of the calendar case before the trial Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and carefully perused the materials available on record.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by the Court below by directing the petitioner to deposit 20% of the compensation amount is modified and there shall be a direction to the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh and Fifty Thousand only) on or before 01.09.2023. It is made clear that if this condition is not complied with by the petitioner, it is left open to the Court below to cancel the suspension of sentence granted in favour of the petitioner. 2/4
