This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking direction to the first respondent to conduct further investigation in Cr.No.254 of 2024 and include certain offences.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that FIR was registered in Cr.No.254 of 2024 for offence under Sections 147, 148, 294b, 352, 431 and 506(ii) of IPC. In the course of investigation, materials collected has indicated offence under Section 3 of TNPPDL Act is also made out and hence, the said section been added in alteration report and submitted the same to the learned Judicial Magistrate-V, Salem.

3. Taking note of the above fact, this Court disposed of the criminal original petition recording the grievance of the petitioner been substantially complied by adding Section 3(i) of TNPPDL Act. 02.09.2024 Vv To 2/4
