O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner except due process of law.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested by the respondent 12 years back in a case and the matter ended in acquittal. Now, the respondent Police is again harassing the petitioner by calling for an enquiry under Section 110 Cr.P.C.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that summoning a person for an enquiry under Section 110 Cr.P.C. is not a harrassment and therefore, this petition is to be dismissed.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the petitioner is directed to cooperate for the enquiry and the respondent Police is also directed to conduct the enquiry without any harassment to the petitioner.
