This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner's agricultural property situated at Akkaraipatti Village.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the property measuring 3 acres 5.41 cents and when he went to the said land for harvesting crop, he is being disturbed by Kanthasamy Gounder and his daughters. In this regard, the petitioner has given a complaint and thereafter, filed the present petition for police protection.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is the absolute owner of the land in question and that the second respondent and his family members are harassing him and disturbed his possession.

4. In a dispute of this nature, no police protection can be granted to either side and it is open to the petitioner to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

work out his remedy before the Civil Court, as this Court cannot give any finding with regard to the title, ownership or possession. Hence, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
