O R D E R

The petitioner was arrested and remanded to custody on 30.04.2018 for the offences under Section 3[1] and 4 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.385 of 2018. The Sessions Court, Tiruvallur granted bail to the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.2164 of 2018 on 09.05.2018, on condition that the accused shall deposit Rs.40,000/-, since it is alleged that a two-wheeler was set on fire resulting in the damage to a tune of Rs.60,000/-. To modify the said condition, the present petition has been filed. 2.Today, Ms.K.K.Brindha Jasmine, WPC attached to T-7, Tank Factory Police Station, Avadi is present before this Court. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.

4.Mr.Sasi Kumar submitted that the petitioner has not been able to raise the money on account of poverty and that, she is in incarceration from 30.04.2018 onwards.

5.Taking into consideration these aspects, the sum of Rs.40,000/- is reduced to Rs.15,000/-. Rest of the conditions imposed by the Sessions Court in Crl.M.P.No.2164 of 2018 shall remain the same. The sum of Rs.15,000/- shall be paid to the de facto complainant as ad interim compensation without prejudice to the defence of the accused.

With the above modification, this petition is ordered accordingly.
