COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions have been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.359 of 2017, within the time frame fixed by this Court and to freeze the bank account of the accused person. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent police has registered a case in the above said Crime number on 13.10.2017, no final report is filed till date. 4.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be given time to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant and insofar as the direction to the respondent police to freeze the bank account of the accused person, it is a decision that has to be taken by the respondent police in the course of investigation and this Court cannot give any positive direction in that regard. The respondent police is directed to take all appropriate action in the course of investigation, strictly in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, both the Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
