Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from interfering in the petitioner's property in S.No.1/10A - 0.26.00 ares(about 64 cents) in Kundrathur-B Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

ORDER

The petitioner claims that he has purchased a piece of property measuring 64 cents in S.No.1/10A of Kundrathur-B Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and that a patta has been issued to him by the Revenue Authorities and that he has been enjoying this property ever since he purchased this property under two separate sale deed (first in 1996 and second in 2010). The petitioner alleges that his peaceful possession is now threatened by the second and the third respondents, who claim that the property has been acquired. 2.Heard both sides.

3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, who entered appearance for the respondents, made a statement on instructions that the apprehension as expressed by the petitioner is misconceived and that there is no intension to disturb his possession and if at all anything is required to be done, the same would be done in strict compliance of the relevant statute. In other words, the learned counsel submitted that the Authorities concerned would abide by the rule of law. 2/4

4.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

5.In view of the said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader, nothing needs to be decided in this Writ Petition for the present and hence, the same is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
