Crl.M.P.Nos.10967, 10973, 10975, 10976, 10970 & 10971 of 2024 in Crl.R.C.Nos.780, 781, 783, 785, 786 & 787 of 2024 M.DHANDAPANI,J These Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed to release the interim compensation of a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- deposited in C.C.No.4610, 4605, 4609,4608, 4607& 4606 of 2017 on the file of FTC III, Saidapet by the respondent / petitioner in the above cases to the petitioner / respondent who is the complainant in the above cases.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the direction issued by this Court, while granting suspension of sentence, the petitioner is entitled for release of the amount deposited before the trial Court. Hence, he prays this Court for passing appropriate orders.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has ample chance to succeed the main Revision Cases and if the deposited amount is released in favour of the petitioner, it will cause great prejudice to the respondent / accused.

In view of the fact that there may be a chance for the respondent to succeed the Revision cases, this Court is not inclined to release the compensation amount which was deposited before the trial Court in favour of the petitioner, as it will cause prejudice to the respondent / 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

M.DHANDAPANI,J rap accused. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be acceded to.
