2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner had submitted a representation for cancellation of patta before the second respondent and it is pending.

4. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner and conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
