Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2019 to revoke the suspension order dated 02.04.2019 issued by the respondent vide proceedings in R.No.12689/VA1/2019 and direct him to permit the petitioner to discharge his official duty.

The writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2019 to revoke the suspension order dated 02.04.2019 issued by the respondent vide proceedings in R.No.12689/VA1/2019 and direct him to permit the petitioner to discharge his official duty.

The case of the petitioner is that he was recruited as Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade - II in the year 2016. While he was placed under suspension on 02.04.2019, till date the suspension order was not revoked. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent dated 22.04.2019 and 03.05.2019, but till date his representation has not been considered by the respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that it would be suffice to issue a direction to the respondent to dispose of the representation in accordance with law.

Without expressing any opinion, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2019 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
