This application is filed seeking to enlarge the time granted in O.P.No.817 of 2018 dated 17.12.2018 by a further period of six months so as to enable the sole Arbitrator to make his award.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.

3. Earlier, vide order dated 17.12.2018, this Court had appointed Mr.A.K.Rajan, Judge (Retd) as sole Arbitrator to enter upon reference and to pass an award within a period of six months. As the mandate of the Tribunal has expired, the present application has been filed. It is stated that the extension is sought for the first time.

4. Accordingly, with the consent of learned counsel appearing on both sides, time is extended by six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completion of the arbitration proceedings and the parties are directed to co-operate for completion of the proceedings and enable the tribunal to pass an award within a period of six months. 5.Accordingly, the application stands ordered. 31.07.2019 http://www.judis.nic.in rsi
