Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of habeas corpus, call for the entire records, relating to petitioner's sister detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 30.08.2016 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings C3.D.O.No.55/2016 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioners sister namely Reena W/o.Saravanan, aged 31 years before this Hon'ble High Court and set the petitioners sister at liberty from detention, Now Petitioner's Sister detained at special Prison for Women, Vellore.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) Habeas corpus petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed by the second respondent against the detenue - Reena W/o.Saravanan in C3.D.O.No.55/2016 dated 30.08.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the impugned order of detention has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.5333, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 24.10.2016. Copy of the said Government Order, submitted to this Court, shall form part of the record.

3. Recording the above, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
