Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2023 and to direct the 2nd respondent to issue Non-traceable Certificate for the missing original Sale deed No.4838/2008 dated 18.08.2008 as per the Circular Memorandum in R.C.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue Non-traceable Certificate for the missing documents pursuant to the representation made by the petitioner on 17.02.2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the petitioner had merely sent a registered post seeking for Non-traceable Certificate and he has not come in-person and given a complaint and had participated in any enquiry. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is willing to go before the respondent police and give a written complaint and also produce all the relevant documents as is required under the Circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu dated 01.04.2022.

5.In the light of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh complaint to the 2nd respondent along with all the relevant documents and the same shall be considered by the 2nd respondent in line with the Circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu dated 01.04.2022 and a final decision shall be taken, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the complaint from the petitioner. 6.This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
