ORDER

The petitioners, who are senior citizens, seek expeditious disposal of the suit in O.S.No.55 of 2024, pending on the file of District Court, Mayiladuthurai filed by the first respondent.

2.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. Pursuant to this Court's order dated 26.06.2025, the District and Sessions Judge, Mayiladuthurai has forwarded a Report to the Registry dated 30.06.2025, stating that the case was posted for trial on 02.09.2025 as last chance. The learned Judge has not indicated any time required to dispose of O.S.No.55 of 2024.

4. In the light of the above, the learned District Judge, Mayiladuthurai is directed to dispose of O.S.No.55 of 2024 on merits and in accordance with law 2/4

within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the civil revision petition is allowed. No costs.
