JUDGMENT

(The order of the Court was made by J.Nisha Banu,J.) This Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the order dated 4.4.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.11999 of 2025.

2. The 8th respondent in the writ petition is the appellant herein. The petitioner is the 1st respondent herein. The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the 5th respondent to consider

and dispose of the representation dated 21.02.2025, requesting police protection for his landed properties in Survey Nos.267/1 and 267/1A1A at Ollaipatti Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District and for the purpose of putting up fencing around the same. The writ Court disposed of the writ petition, granting police assistance to the surveyor, while surveying the petitioner's property.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the appellant, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. According to the 1st respondent, when the surveyor visited the property to conduct the survey, the respondents 7 to 11 and the appellant herein obstructed the surveyor from carrying out the survey. Hence, the 1st respondent sought police protection. The Writ Court, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, observed that in the event, the surveyor encounters any obstruction or hindrance while surveying the petitioner's property, he is entitled to seek assistance from the 5th respondent/police who shall provide necessary police protection.

5. We find no infirmity or illegality in the order passed in the writ

petition. Therefore, we are not inclined to interfere with the same. Accordingly, the Writ Appeal stands dismissed. No costs. [J.N.B.,J.] [M.J.R.,J.] 06.08.2025 vsi Speaking order/Non-speaking order To
