O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) It is the grievance of the petitioner that there had been encroachments in Survey Nos.85/1A, 85/1B and 94/2. The report filed by the 2nd respondent / the Tahsildhar, Panruti reveals that these lands are patta lands and patta stand in the name of individuals.

2.It is the contention of the petitioner that these lands were poromboke lands and pattas have been issued subsequently and there is some irregularity in grant of pattas. We do not think, we can go into those issues in this Contempt Petition. This Contempt Petition is therefore, closed. It is open to the petitioner to seek cancellation of pattas, if he is aggrieved by grant of pattas.
