The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 309(4) r/w 311 of the BNS, 2023 in Crime No.Not known of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that while the defacto complainant was gazing cows the petitioner had snatched her gold chain. Hence, th case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons. Though a CCTV footage was produced to show his innocence, however, the respondent had suspected that the petitioner has committed the theft. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has committed the theft and has got 5 previous cases, in which he has been acquitted in two cases and the remaining three cases are pending against the petitioner and hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 2/4
