..Respondents Prayer : The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent in Pro.Na.Ka.No.A2/4727/2008 dated 13.06.2008, quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to allow the petitioner to continue to serve as Sub Inspector of Survey, Mobile Squad, Cuddalore .

ORDER

The petitioner prays to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent in Pro.Na.Ka.No.A2/4727/2008 dated 13.06.2008, quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned and to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to allow the petitioner to continue to serve as Sub Inspector of Survey, Mobile Squad, Cuddalore.

2. The petitioner states that based on the transfer order Pro.Na.Ka.No.A2.2959/08(2) dated 23.04.2008, the petitioner joined duty as Sub Inspector of Survey, Mobile squad Cuddalore and within two months, he was issued another transfer order Pro.Na.Ka.No.A2/4727/2008 dated 13.06.2008, which is against the transfer policy of the Government. Challenging the second transfer order dated 13.06.2018 the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.When the matter is listed today the learned counsel for the petitioner contends that as the petitioner was retired from service. nothing survives in this writ petition.

5. In view of the above statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions is closed.
