PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to accept the lease amount for the 3rd year for the fishing rights granted to the petitioner Co-operative Society under Lease Deed dated 10.07.2020 and consequently, forbear the respondents from interfering with the Lease Rights of the petitioner without following the due process of law. This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to accept the lease amount for the 3rd year for the fishing rights granted to the petitioner Co-operative Society under Lease Deed dated 10.07.2020 and consequently, forbear the respondents from interfering with the Lease Rights of the petitioner without following the due process of law.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency

of the Writ Petition, lease amount for the 3rd year for the fishing rights was accepted by the Assistant Director of Fisheries vide order dated 02.11.2022 and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication. The same is hereby recorded.
